Free Women's Health Charity Event, Mona Vale Surf Life Saving Club, 18 May 2019

Thank you to those who joined us for a light lunch to raise money for a 'girl and her world' charity event focusing on women's health, we will be addressed by thought leaders in their fields, all working to build better communities and to promote further education on women’s health. A 'girl and her world' charity helps women in the Pacific Islands by educating girls and providing income generation projects, which is an important step towards overcoming poverty. It has been said that education is the best way to fight poverty and extremism. Educating girls leads directly to better health, improved life outcomes for families, as well as lower rates of child mortality and malnutrition for the next generation.
